Jatt Nuu Chudail Takri is an original creation as it is difficult to identify the source of its inspiration. The plot of the movie centers around Jallaludin, his prejudices, and how his prejudices break.

Gippy Grewal stars as Jallaludin in Jatt Nuu Chudail Takri. He does not like women and calls them chudail. He influences his friend to consider divorce. However, he falls in love and gets married to soon discover a ghost as his wife. Jallaludin must accept this reality. They face challenges and supernatural obstacles, but their bond deepens. The film explores the blurred lines between love and the supernatural.

So prepare to be surprised as Jallaludin confronts the complexities of his love and how he deals with the shocking reality that his wife is a ghost!

Plot and Climax 

The main character Jallaludin is known for his derogatory remarks about women and for referring to them as “chudail” (witch). He goes on a trip with his friends and influences one of his married friends to consider divorce. However, he falls head over heels for Rani, a woman he meets on the same trip. And they get married within a week.

Jallaludin soon discovers that Rani is not who she seems to be. He witnesses strange occurrences – objects moving on their own, Rani vanishing and reappearing at will. Such unexplainable events make him realise that Rani is a “chudail,” a ghost!

Initially, he is filled with fear and disgust, but Jallaludin eventually must accept this reality. Rani explains how she was wronged and seeks revenge on the person responsible for her death. Jallaludin is hesitant but eventually decides to help her seek justice.

Now they work together, Jallaludin confronts his prejudices against women and begins to understand Rani’s pain. Their bond deepens, and the climax involves Rani achieving justice. The film concludes with closure, but whether Jallaludin and Rani truly find happiness is still to be interpreted.

The film was produced by Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta’s team with a budget of 5 to 10 crores, both of whom have successful careers as actors and producers in the Punjabi film industry.
