Tania’s passion for acting brought her into this career; otherwise, she was raised to be a doctor one day like her father. She was good in her studies and even secured more than ninety percentile in her graduation.

Tania was born into a Punjabi family. Her father, a doctor himself, wished her to become one as well. Little did he know that she wanted to be an actor and was just scared of sharing her dream career with her parents because of its volatile nature. Her father wanted her to either do business or a job where one at least gets a fixed amount of money, unlike an acting career.

Education and Early Career Days

Tania defied the stereotype of the typical Bollywood actress. She was always good in her studies in school as well as college. She passed her senior secondary in the medical stream. After that, she continued her college and earned a degree in Interior design and Project management from GNDU, Amritsar. During her college days, she was crowned as Miss Amritsar in 2011 and consecutively won the Best Actress award from 2012 to 2016. She is also trained in classical dancing and is a national-level participant. 

Did you know Tania was selected for the Bollywood film Sarabjit in 2016? But she had to let go of her role due to her final exams. Then, in 2018, she debuted with Qismat, which became the biggest Pollywood hit of the year.
