Mandy was born and brought up in a Punjabi Sikh family. So, her early childhood was also spent in Punjab. She moved to the UK to study drama when she was 17 years of age. Mandy Takhar studied drama at Kingston University to polish her passion for acting. After completing her education, she came back to India in 2009.
